Hand-milled boards from the Appalachians
Set up in 2008, Cripple Creek Hardwoods is a family farm in Ivanhoe, Virginia focusing on quality local hardwoods to be used by craftsmen, artisans, and hobbyists to create beautiful pieces of furniture and art.
The farm, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, is rich in black walnut, sourwood, white oak, maple, ash, poplar and many other beautiful woods. The wood is harvested and milled on site, then dried naturally over years.
In summer of 2021 a kiln will be built on the farm and soon we will also be able to offer kiln-dried slabs and boards.
